After extensive modernization work, the new operator, Argentum Pflege Holding GmbH, has now reopened the retirement home at the Alte Saline in Lüneburg. At the end of 2021, the City of Lüneburg had complained about numerous fire safety deficiencies and ordered the home to be evacuated.
