IntReal increases property assets under administration by around €2.4 billion

IntReal International Real Estate Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH (IntReal) continued on its rapid growth path in the first six months of 2017. Total assets under administration (AuA) rose from €13.5 billion (31 December 2016) to €15.9 billion (30 June 2017). The number of property funds administered increased by 16 to 99 in the same period. At the end of the first half of 2017, a total of 711 properties were administered by IntReal (31 December 2016: 629).

Michael Schneider, Managing Director of IntReal, commented: „We have succeeded in maintaining the high pace of growth we established in the previous year. I expect our business to continue to enjoy dynamic development in the second half of 2017 and beyond. There are further significant capital commitments for the funds we administer. Our fund partners have already successfully secured the contracts for most of the properties to be acquired using this capital. In the first half of 2017, we therefore continued to work on establishing the organisational conditions for our planned business growth, significantly expanding our human resources. The number of employees increased by 16 percent in the first six months, from 139 to 161, and we have already obtained the services of additional fund administration specialists for the second half of the year. This will enable us to guarantee our high quality standards for the future.“

Partner Funds business unit records strongest growth
The majority of IntReal's growth is attributable to the Partner Funds business unit, whose AuA increased by around €1.8 billion in the first half of 2017, from €7.6 billion to €9.4 billion. Taken together with the three Multi Asset Manager Funds, property assets with a total volume of €9.8 billion are administered in this area. IntReal's Partner Funds business unit offers national and international asset managers a platform for launching and administering regulated property investment funds that gives them access to institutional and private investors. The special funds newly launched in the first half of the year encompass all usage types, including DIC Office Balance IV and Industria Wohnen Deutschland V. The property assets in the amount of €9.4 billion are primarily located in Germany, followed by the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Austria.

In IntReal's second largest business unit, AIFM agency, AuA increased by around €660 million in the first half of the year to total approximately €6.1 billion as of 30 June 2017 (31 December 2016: €5.4 billion). The AIFM agency business unit performs back office activities for other AIFM companies.
