Hermes Investment Management launches Ascent 4 office building

Hermes Investment Management has launched Ascent 4, a newly refurbished 60,000 sq ft office building in Farnborough Aerospace Centre (FAC). Designed by Hale Architecture, the completed Ascent 4 building has been refurbished to a high-quality specification, providing contemporary office accommodation and flexible working space set within a prestigious business address. The building has been designed to suit a single company looking for headquarters or for multi-occupancy with suites starting from 7,500 sq ft.

Hermes Investment Management acquired Ascent 4 and three other buildings at FAC in 2015 . Planning has been granted and a contractor appointed to commence redevelopment works at Ascent 1 and Ascent 3, comprising approximately 75,000 sq ft and 45,000 sq ft respectively. These extensive works, which are set to complete in Q4 2018, will include new glazed facades to the front of the buildings, new mechanical and electrical services throughout and a covered atrium at Ascent 1.

The Ascent Buildings equate to approximately 250,000 sq ft of office space with over 1,200 parking spaces. FAC is the corporate headquarters for BAE Systems with other occupiers including Zurich Insurance, Infor, Fluor and Lockheed Martin.

Well-connected and just minutes away from Farnborough town centre via the Estate Shuttle bus, providing direct trains to London Waterloo (34mins), the Ascent buildings are also adjacent to Farnborough Airport (private charter) and in close proximity to Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The A3 and Jct 4 of the M3 are also both just minutes away, providing excellent accessibility for occupiers’ employees.
