CWA wins Birmingham apartment contract

Birmingham civil and structural engineering consultancy CWA Ltd has been appointed to deliver a €5.9 million (£5 million) scheme to build dozens of new homes in the city's Jewellery Quarter. The city centre-based consultancy has secured the contract to carry out civil and structural engineering work on a 63-apartment scheme bounded by Edward Street, Helena Street and Scotland Street. Construction of two apartment buildings, by Trigram Properties Ltd, has begun. The overlooks a shared courtyard with ground floor commercial units and car parking.
