CPI Property acquires two Warsaw office buildings

CPI Property Group announces the purchase of two office assets in Warsaw from Catalyst Capital and Immofinanz. With this acquisitions CPI owned 11 office properties in the Polish capital.

Catalyst Capital sells Moniuszki 1A
The investment company has purchased the office building located at Moniuszki 1A in Warsaw from Catalyst Capital. „This acquisition is a small but important example of CPIPG's commitment to increasing our exposure to high-quality offices, which already represent the largest segment of our portfolio,“ said Tomas Salajka, head of acquisitions and asset management for CPIPG. „The group has nearly completed our acquisition pipeline in Warsaw, which will deliver solid rental income going forward.“

Located in the center of Warsaw, Moniuszki 1A offers 10,000 square metres across 18 floors, and was fully refurbished in 2015. The location offers direct access to two metro lines as well as several tram and bus stops. Notable tenants include the Polish Ministry of Finance and the Copernicus Centre of Science.

Immofinanz sells Equator I
Furthermore, CPI acquired the office building Equator I from Immofinanz. The property is the first of four buildings included in the ‘Equator Office Park’. Located on Aleje Jerozolimskie, in the vicinity of Zawisza Square, the building was completed in 2008 and comprises over 19,500 m² of class A office space located on 15 floors. Equator I is certified BREEAM “Very Good,” thus further enhancing the proportion of green-certified buildings in CPIPG’s portfolio.

Equator I is the eleventh office property in Warsaw owned by CPI and the third acquired by the company in 2020.
