Carlyle Group secures £125 million for three developments

Pure Student Living, a London focused student accommodation brand formed in a joint venture between global alternative asset manager, The Carlyle Group, and Generation Estates, has secured £125 million of funding for three developments. This comes shortly after the completion of its first development, Pure Highbury in Finsbury Park.Finance for three of the properties has been provided by Barclays and Lloyds which will enable Pure Student Living to start the £37 million construction at the Pure Hammersmith site, the former Hammersmith Palais concert venue and nightclub, and its Pure City development on Goswell Road in Islington.
