Unibail-Rodamco agrees to sell five Dutch shopping centres to Wereldhave

Unibail-Rodamco announces that, as part of its strategy to focus on large shopping centres, it has entered into an agreement with Wereldhave to sell five Dutch shopping centres for a total consideration of €235 m, resulting in a capital gain relative to the book value of these assets as of 31 December 2009. The portfolio consists of Eggert Shopping Center in Purmerend, De Koperwiek in Capelle aan de IJssel, De Roselaar in Roosendaal, WoenselXL in Eindhoven and Overvecht in Utrecht for a total GLA of approximately 60,000 sq m. The closing of the transaction is expected to occur in March 2010. The sale of Overvecht, Utrecht is conditional because of a right of first refusal of a third party.
