Topland gets planning on city scheme
GreycoatCore, the Freeholder of 33 King William Street, have achieved planning consent for a landmark City headquarters building. The development will occupy an island site and comprise c 220,000 sq ft of highly specified office space providing efficient floor plates of circa 23,000 sq ft. The building would suit a range of occupiers with the ability for trading operations to be accommodated on the lower floors. The scheme is well located in the heart of the City and will benefit from excellent transport connections with the proposed new Bank Underground Station entrance/exit being only 1 minute away at 10 King William Street.
GreycoatCore is a joint venture between Greycoat and Core. The John Robertson Architects designed scheme was received well at planning committee and a marketing campaign will commence early next year with completion of the new building in 2017.
Clive Bush, Managing Director of Operations at Topland, said: “We are delighted with the result and anticipate significant demand for the flexible space that will now be available.”
Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed as the leasing agent on the scheme.
