Starbucks opens new unit in Budapest

Cushman & Wakefield has secured retail space for Starbucks Coffee on the Fashion Street in Budapest on behalf of the developer Immobilia Plc. The new Starbucks unit with 162 sq m sales area and 100 sq m terrace opened on the 15th of June 2012.

The new Starbucks unit on Fashion Street located at the busy corner of Deák Ferenc Street and Deák Ferenc tér is the 7th Starbucks store in Budapest. Fashion Street development offers approximately 8,000 sq m of retail space and restaurants on Deák Ferenc and Bécsi utca and is directly linked to Budapest’s traditional high street, Váci utca and Vörösmarty square. The scheme is being developed by Hungarian developer Immobilia Plc. Key fashion tenants on the location include Byblos, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Mexx, Lloyd, Benetton, Sisley, Furla, Daniele Alessandrini and Lacoste. Major restaurant chains on Fashion Street include Vapiano, TGI Friday’s, Planet Sushi and the recently opened Vodafone SmartStore sales point is a unique attraction of this busy pedestrian location in 2011.
