Segro Service Park Berlin Airport already 50% pre-let
Airberlin’s aerospace engineering subsidiary, airberlin technik GmbH has taken a long-term lease of around 3,000 sq m at Segro Service Park Berlin Airport. The rental period will begin immediately after completion of the park in the second quarter of 2012. Airberlin technik plans to use their new facility as a hub warehouse for the planned 12,000 sq m maintenance hangar on the site of the new airport. Their new premises will provide easy access to the hangar and excellent transport links via the nearby A113 and A117 motorways.
Phase One of Segro Service Park Berlin Airport is due for completion in the second quarter of this year. It will offer a total of around 12,000 sq m of flexible units, ranging from 400 sq m to 4,000 sq m. The park is part of a longterm major development programme which will see Segro developing the 38-hectare Segro Business Park Berlin Airport which will provide a wide range of high-quality office, logistics and business accommodation in the immediate vicinity of the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
