SEB lets 2,960 sqm of space to Steilmann-Boecker in Hagen
The Steilmann-Boecker fashion store has leased approximately 2,960 sqm of space in the Volme Galerie in Hagen as of 1 October 2012. The German fashion retailer, which is part of Steilmann Holding AG, signed a ten-year lease. The lessor is SEB Asset Management, acting on behalf of the SEB ImmoInvest open-ended real estate fund.
Volme Galerie, a shopping centre, is located on Friedrich-Ebert Platz in Hagen’s city centre – a traffic-calmed area that has been redesigned as a pedestrian zone. Together with the standalone Stadtfenster Hagen building opposite, the Volme Galerie is the city’s retail centre. The Galerie offers around 60 shops on two levels, and a wide range of catering options spread across a total of approximately 26,000 sqm of space as well as 800 parking spaces.
The Stadtfenster building houses approximately 3,500 sqm of office, retail and catering space. Both buildings have been part of the SEB fund’s portfolio since 2003.
