Sal. Oppenheim opens branch in Bremen

The Cologne-based private bank Sal. Oppenheim is expanding its regional commitment in northwest Germany. Since January 2012, a team led by Marlies Brune (53) is strengthening the support for wealthy private clients in Bremen and Lower Saxony, thus enlarging Sal. Oppenheim's network of offices with a branch in Bremen.

Dr Gregor Broschinski, member of Sal. Oppenheim’s Executive Board and responsible for Private Asset Management, emphasises the importance of the new location: “Thanks to the presence of Sal. Oppenheim in the Bremen/Oldenburg Metropolitan Region, we are even closer to our clients in one of Germany’s wealthiest areas. In Bremen we are rounding off a strong network of branches in northwest Germany, having already opened locations in Bielefeld and Hanover.”

Branch office manager, Marlies Brune, is moving to Sal. Oppenheim with a small team. Having qualified as a bank clerk, Brune looks back on over 30 years of experience supporting wealthy private clients in the Bremen region. She has spent the last eight years at a leading regional bank in northwest Germany.
