RREEF acquires Grunwaldzki Centre in Wroclaw

RREEF Investment GmbH has acquired the office and commercial property Grunwaldzki Centre in Wroclaw (Poland) for approximately 77 million Euro from Skanska Property Poland for the open-ended real estate fund grundbesitz global.

The property was completed in 2009 and is located in the centre of the fourth-largest city in Poland. It features a total floor space of around 27,000 square meters. The property is fully-let. Tenants include Santander and Credit Suisse as well as Hewlett Packard and international consulting companies.

The property is the first in Wroclaw and one of only a few in Poland to fulfil the requirements of the EU Green Building program. For example, the energy consumption of the building is 30 percent lower than the Polish average. The Grunwaldzki Centre is the second acquisition in Poland for the portfolio of grundbesitz global, which currently includes 49 properties worldwide and has a fund value of approximately 2,8 billion Euro (as of 31st May 2010).
