Revetas Capital Advisors to open Vienna office

Revetas Capital Advisors LLP, an advisor focussed on restructuring opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), announces the opening of an office in Vienna. The real estate investment advisor recently announced a strategic relationship with Patron Capital, which will enable it to invest up to E.100m in distressed real estate opportunities within the CEE region.

The Vienna office will be led by Kiril Klaturov, an internationally-qualified lawyer who most recently has been working in the Banking Finance and Capital Markets Group of Schoenherr, and prior to that at the global law firm Freshfield Bruckhaus Deringer. As Revetas' Senior Legal Counsel he will provide advice across all the firm's activities. He has a law degree from Georgetown University, USA and has been admitted to the Austrian Bar and the New York State Bar. Mr. Klaturov will be responsible for overseeing legal aspects of the new Fund and transaction documentation as well as liaising with external legal advisors.

This announcement also coincides with the appointment of Ian Jones, who in February this year, became the group's Chief Financial Officer, as a Partner and Advisory Board member with immediate effect.

Jones is responsible for the firm's financial management and investor reporting. Revetas is currently raising a €250m Fund to invest in CEE distressed real estate assets. He will be working closely with external advisors in structuring and documenting the Fund and will be Revetas' Compliance and Money Laundering Officer after registration with the FSA.

Prior to joining Revetas, Jones was Head of Real Estate at Langham Hall UK LLP, an FSA regulated business providing outsourced services to real estate funds, principally European funds. He has held Finance Director roles at several real estate investment groups including Topland Group, Antler Property Group and GHP Group. He is a Chartered Accountant who, earlier in his career, specialised in real estate audit and advisory with KPMG London. He has considerable experience of managing transactions, negotiating debt financing, offshore structuring, tax planning and financial reporting.
