Record trading during first week at Riviera Shopping City
DTZ announce a record breaking first week as Riviera Shopping City opened its doors to customers in Odessa. Figures from Hypermarket real,- showed that 15,000 people made purchases on the first day of trading, which was a new record for its 440 stores in 6 countries, exceeding the previous best of 10,000 in a Bucharest, Romania opening.
Electronics giant, Comfy, reported 50,000 visitors during their first three days of trading and 5,000 sales; Pivdenny Bank reported the highest turnover in one of its currency exchanges ever; and several retailers, including Hallmark ended the week with seriously depleted stock levels.

Riviera Shopping City opened on 16th October and is located in the Fontanka, Kominternovsky district of Odessa oblast. There are 2,200 on site car parking spaces and free public buses run from numerous locations around the City. The Centre is managed by DTZ’s Property Management Team.
