REC expands its business activities
Given the rising demand for technical consultancy services in the real estate industry, REC Real Estate Consultancy GmbH is expanding its lines of business to include the technical asset management segment. Seated in Frankfurt am Main, the company has so far focused on the area of technical due diligences (TDD) of buildings. REC specialises in any technical issue involving commercial real estate, and operates in Europe, Turkey and Russia.
“The main thing in technical asset management is to translate the technical aspects of properties into intelligible business management terms. Here, it is of the essence to take an end-to-end approach that considers the entire property life cycle, from the acquisition of a given property, to its operation – especially with a view to reusability – and all the way to its eventual sale. An ongoing reporting process provides the basis for the necessary transparency and planning. It is the only way to manage the technical aspects of a given property in strategic terms, and to preserve or indeed enhance its value,” elaborated Jens Dehnbostel, Managing Director of REC.
REC staffs the teams with experienced professionals and surveyors. These include civil engineers, architects, environmental experts and building systems experts. Most recently, the company gathered its activities into the following three lines of business: Property Solutions, Real Estate Management and Technical Services.
