Raiffeisen evolution sell the SkyTower project in Bucharest
Raiffeisen evolution develops in its role as turnkey contractor, in the northern part of Bucharest, a large-scale project consisting in a 37-floors office tower, known as SkyTower, and in a 7 floors office building, Floreasca Office. Within the same real estate project, Raiffeisen evolution constructs also the Promenada Shopping Center, now assuming the developer’s role. The most spectacular constructive element is SkyTower which - with its 137 meters – will be the tallest building of the Capital. Once completed, the building will obviously reshape the skyline.
On the 21st of November 2011, Raiffeisen evolution has completed the sale of SkyTower to Raiffeisen Property InternationaI GmbH, which is part of the Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI) group. The Romanian affiliate of RBI, Raiffeisen Bank S.A., will set up here its new head-office in Bucharest.
At the beginning of 2013, after the completion of the construction works, Raiffeisen Bank S.A. shall relocate to SkyTower, where it will occupy floors 2 to 7, and in Floreasca Office, the 7-floors building located in the immediate vicinity of the tower.
“Romania is and remains for us a very important market in the area of Central and Eastern Europe, a market that continues to offer a great potential. The planned relocation to SkyTower is one more step in proving this trust,“ stated Herbert Stepic, Chairman of the RBI Board, related to this event.
