New Multiplex Cinema and Bowling for Electroputere Parc in Craiova
K&S Developments and The Light Cinema has signed a lease contract for a entertainment zone at Electroputere Parc including a new all-digital, six screen multiplex and an eight lane bowling facility. The Light Cinemas will open the state of the art cinema late November 2012 along with an eight lane bowling complex and exclusive café bar area.
John Sullivan, Partner at the Light Cinemas added “We are very pleased with this addition to our European circuit. This €5m investment forms an important step in our Romanian expansion plan”.
At the time of the opening, in November 2011, the project was 97% leased. After all stages of opening, Electroputere Parc will be the largest shopping center in Craiova and the county, offering a diversity of Romanian and international retail brands in the fashion, accessories, toys, decorations, electronics, services etc. With the addition of the modern cinema and bowling area, the center will provide a complete shopping and entertainment experience to all customers in southwestern Romania.
