New Global Portfolio Manager joins ING Real Estate Select
ING Real Estate Select has hired Francijn de Ruijter as the new global portfolio manager for its multi-manager business. De Ruijter joins ING from Doctors Pension Funds Services in Utrecht, the Netherlands where she was Head of Real Estate and Private Equity and was responsible for global non-listed portfolios in real estate, private equity and infrastructure and real estate securities mandates. Prior to working at Doctor’s Pension Funds Services she was Portfolio Manager Asia Pacific Real Estate at ABP (now APG) Investments in the Netherlands.
Starting in August, de Ruijter will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the ING Real Estate Select global portfolio, which includes The Global Osiris Fund and several separate tailor made global mandates.
De Ruijter began her career in 1997 as a portfolio manager of mutual funds at ING Investment Management. “I am delighted to be joining ING Real Estate Select and look forward to helping further develop the well-performing fund of funds and managed accounts, regionally and globally. This is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside some of the most capable and well-respected professionals in the industry,” said de Ruijter of her new role.
