Major expansion for West Midlands Care Home
A West Midlands care home is to open a new £2.5 million luxury extension which will increase its capacity by nearly 60 per cent. Beech Hill Grange, in Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield will increase from 36 rooms to 55 rooms when the new extension to its Beech Hill Road premises is opened later this month, with further capacity planned for the future.
The new extension, which is landscaped and sympathetically designed to blend in with the existing Victorian building, includes 19 new en-suite rooms, three of which have their own private gardens. Many of the rooms have stunning views over the nearby Walmley Golf Club.
The extension also includes a new restaurant, a bistro where guests and relatives can get drinks and snacks, a spacious activities lounge and spa bathing facilities.
Construction of the new extension has been carried out using state-of-the-art sustainable construction methods and materials. Energy-saving fittings and renewable and sustainable materials ensure high levels of environmental performance.
