Long-term lease of 600 m² at the Segro Service Park Berlin-Airport

Segro has successfully signed another long-term lease at its Service Park Berlin-Airport by letting even more production space at Am Seegraben/Alexander-Meißner-Straße in Berlin. The Berlin-based engineering company Janke Engineering GmbH has decided to rent 600 m² of combined warehouse and office space starting on June 1, 2012. The 10-year lease was arranged by the Armin Müller & Partner Immobilien.

Once its phase I is completed in the second quarter of 2012, the Segro Service Park will offer a total of around 12,000 m². for letting, comprising units from 400 m² to 4,000 m², which can be combined and let flexibly. Due to an occupancy rate of more than 50%, further expansions of the present site will be implemented. The Park is part of a major project of the Segro Group, which will be developing a wide range of quality buildings for offices, logistics and industrial purposes close to the capital's new airport on an area of about 38 hectares. It is not only the close proximity to Berlin’s new international airport, but also the easy access to the A 113/A 117 motorways via the B96a trunk road that make this location one of the most attractive sites of Germany’s capital.

Regional Director Thomas Suhr from Segro's Berlin office notes the continued demand from companies whose business operations are not only focused on the airport, but who also appreciate the convenient location and the high quality and functionality of the new Segro Service Park.
