Kraft Foods has a new head office – Amazon Court

One of the largest packaged food companies in the world – Kraft Foods – has chosen the energy-efficient Amazon Court building in Prague’s Karlín district as its new headquarters. Kraft Foods has been occupying more than 2,600 sq m of office space from the beginning of this year.

Amazon Court is a new building from Europolis’ portfolio. It was built in River City Prague in Prague 8 and recently won in the Construction & Investment Journal Awards. The concept of the building, which offers its tenants 19,800 sq m of comfortable office space, is based on a combination of the newest energy-efficient technologies and the use of elementary natural forces. This results in modern offices providing high user comfort and healthy working environment. Thanks to the technologies used the building is also distinguished by low operating costs.

“We are pleased that Amazon Court has become the headquarters for a company such as Kraft Foods and we believe that our building will fulfil their expectations and that Kraft Foods’ employees will find a pleasant working environment in the new offices,” the Director of Europolis, Petr Urbánek, said of the new tenant.

“Not only did the Amazon Court building appeal to us due it its architectural conception, but also because of the energy-efficient concept, from which our company will profit as well,” Pavel Šercl, the Director of Kraft Foods CR s.r.o., commented on the choice of the new offices, adding that “we are glad that we can offer our employees a new, healthy working environment.”
