Knight Frank to market distribution warehouse facilities
Knight Frank has been appointed agents at Gazeley’s G. Park Doncaster. The appointment will see Knight Frank’s Sheffield, Leeds and London offices working together to market G. Park Doncaster after being chosen to act alongside Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) by Gazeley, a leading global developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks. A prime 115-acre site, G. Park Doncaster is based at West Moor Park - an established distribution location – and offers opportunities for large footprint development with unit sizes ranging from 100,000 sq ft to 1m sq ft of industrial and warehousing space.
Located on junction 4 of the M18 and in close proximity to four other major motorways – M1, A1(M), M180 and M62 – G. Park Doncaster forms the natural extension to West Moor Park. West Moor Park already boasts more than 2.5m sq ft of existing distribution development. Occupiers include Next, Scotts Miracle Gro who recently acquired 160,000 sq ft at Quattro, ABP Food Group (120,000 sq ft) and Fellowes Distribution (140,000 sq ft).
Knight Frank Partner Rebecca Schofield said: “Knight Frank’s Sheffield office will be using a joined-up approach to bring this site to the attention of potential occupiers, both local, regional and national. G. Park Doncaster offers occupiers flexibility and quality for large footprint development, all delivered using Gazeley’s award-winning sustainable approach.”
Bruce Topley, Senior Development Director, at Gazeley commented: “We are delighted to jointly appoint Knight Frank and Jones Lang LaSalle to promote the build to suit opportunities at G. Park Doncaster. Thanks to both companies’ vast experience and knowledge of the industrial sector, we are confident that they will successfully help in attracting new customers to this strategically located logistics site.”
Added Rebecca: ‘’The site currently has consent for approximately 1,500,000 sq ft of warehousing, but given the flexibility there is the opportunity for alternative uses subject to planning. We are delighted to be on board acting for the client on this high-profile site. As the market is becoming increasingly build to suit focused, with existing stock drying up, the timing for a site like this is ideal. The prime location adjacent to J4 M18 and the flexibility of the site, both in terms of freehold and leasehold disposals and ability to accommodate a range of sized buildings, are expected to prove of interest to occupiers.’’
