Invesco expands operations in Luxembourg
Invesco Real Estate (IRE) has made seven new appointments in its Luxembourg office, which coincides with a move to new, bigger premises in Avenue JF Kennedy.
Joanna Wisniewska and Wioletta Klopocka have joined as Senior Real Estate Financial Controllers responsible for the fund accounting of the IRE’s Luxembourg-domiciled funds; Maxim Lobes has joined as a Senior Accountant, responsible for the maintenance and quarterly preparation of statutory and consolidated accounts; Patryk Tyszka and Athénaïs Bertin have joined as Accountants, supporting the senior accountant; and Nadja Zimmer and Grant Broadway have joined as Corporate Secretaries, providing legal and administrative support.
Joanna Wisniewska (31) Senior Real Estate Financial Controller, commenced her career in 2003 and prior to joining IRE, was a fund controller for Citco REIF Services (Luxembourg) S.A. Before this, she was a team leader in Brown Brothers Harriman’s real estate accounting and financial reporting department. Joanna has a MA in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics and a certificate from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Wioletta Klopocka (36), Senior Real Estate Financial Controller, commenced her career in 2000 and prior to joining IRE, was a fund controller for Citco REIF Services (Luxembourg) S.A. Before this, she was an accounting supervisor in Brown Brothers Harriman’s real estate investment funds department. Wioletta has a MA in Business Administration from the University of Gdansk, postgraduate diplomas in real estate and is currently studying for a chartered accountant certificate through ACCA.
Maxim Lobes (32), Senior Accountant, commenced his career in 2008 and before joining IRE, worked as a client administrator for TMF Luxembourg S.A. Prior to this, he was an auditor for Deloitte S.A. Luxembourg. Maxim has a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences of Koblenz.
Patryk Tyszka (28), Accountant, commenced his career in 2006 and before joining IRE, worked as a junior accountant for ABN-AMRO Bank and ATC Corporate Services in Luxembourg. Prior to this, he was a fund accountant for PNC Global Investment Servicing (now Bank of NY Mellon) in Dublin. Patryk has a MA in Engineering from the University of Gdynia and is currently studying for a chartered accountant certificate through ACCA.
Athénaïs Bertin (23), Accountant, commenced her career in 2011 and prior to joining IRE, was a junior accountant for Citco REIF Services (Luxembourg) S.A. Athénaïs has an Economic and Social French Baccalauréat degree and a Diplôme de Comptabilité et de Gestion.
Nadja Zimmer (25), Corporate Secretary, commenced her career in 2007, first as a multilinguist secretary at Speralux S.A. before moving to Citco REIF Services (Luxembourg) S.A. in 2008 where she initially worked as a corporate secretary and later as a legal assistant in the Real Estate Investment Fund department. Nadja trained at Euro-Schulen Trier as an International Administration and Management Assistant.
Grant Broadway (41), Junior Corporate Secretary, commenced his career in 1997 and prior to joining IRE, was a corporate officer at Arendt Services S.A. Luxembourg. Before this, he was a legal assistant with Squire Sanders Solicitors in the UK. Grant has a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the University of Huddersfield and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).
