Internos on track for year ahead with West End move

Internos Real Investors LLP (“Internos”), the pan European real estate fund manager has now moved to its permanent new home in London’s West End. The new office is located at 65 Grosvenor Street, London, W1K 1JH.

The move follows the successful integration, re-organisation and rationalisation of the recently acquired GPT Halverton property fund and asset management business. Internos now manages € 1.9 billion of assets across six countries in five funds and two separate accounts. After an initial period of restructuring the business, Internos now has an appropriate cost base and a stable platform from which to exploit improving market conditions in Europe. The team, totalling 85 in the five offices, specialises in retail, industrial and office fund and asset management throughout Europe.

The company has a first class senior team in place. Jos Short, Chairman and founding partner of Internos has taken on the role of new business and capital relationships with investors and banks. Jos has 26 years of experience in the European investment banking and real estate investment management businesses.

Andrew Thornton, also founding partner of the company, has taken on the role of CEO. Andrew has 20 years experience in the property and investment management business.

Fund management will be headed by Matt Walker. Matthew has 18 years of diverse property experience gained on Continental Europe, Asia and Australia covering the retail, office and industrial sectors. Previously Matthew was a Senior Fund Director with The GPT Group and a Partner at Cushman and Wakefield within the Capital Transactions team working in Europe and Asia.
