ING REIM CEE appoints Gijs Klomp as new Head of Asset Management in Hungary

ING Real Estate Investment Management (ING REIM) CEE announces the appointment of Gijs Klomp, 32, as new Head of Asset Management Hungary & Romania.

Gijs Klomp, born in the Netherlands, joined ING Real Estate in 2002. During the past four years he has been Asset Manager in charge of the Romanian market. ING REIM commenced operations in Romania in 2006 and has acquired the Felicia Shopping Centre in Iasi. Klomp’s appointment as new Head of Asset Management Hungary & Romania follows a management decision aimed at combining both countries into one management centre. Based in the Czech capital, Prague, Klomp is responsible for supervising and coordinating the efforts of the Asset Management Team managing the commercial property portfolio. Gijs Klomp is now the person in charge for both Hungary and Romania. Peter Horvath, former Head of Asset Management Hungary, has decided to leave the company in order to pursue new opportunities.
