In Q1 2010 DTZ leased 6,575 sq m of office premises

In Q1 2010 DTZ secured the letting of 6,575 sq m of office premises in Kiev. In January 2010, representing interests of KPMG, DTZ secured a new lease for 2,500 sq m in Baroque Centre at 11 Mikhailivska St., including securing an additional 515 sq m to cater for KPMG’s future expansion requirements. The real estate agent also secured the letting of 889 sq m to OS-Direct at Vector BC, acting on behalf of Vector BC.

Other DTZ lettings included the leasing of 188 sq m at Protasov Business Park, 2/1 N. Grinchenko St., 528 sq m at Horizon Park BC (Phase II), 12 Amosova St., 2,214 sq m at Vector BC, 10 Starokievska St., 88 sq m at 33/34 Ivana Franka Str. and, 1,057 sq m at 23a Volodimirska St..

Following from a similarly high level of office transactions during the last quarter of 2009, these results further demonstrate that the occupational office market is truly on the road to recovery. We are now witnessing a shortage of some forms of centrally located office space and, the first signs that some Landlords are now taking a more bullish position on rentals and incentives.
