Griffin Group buys Prima Court Office building in Warsaw
On January 31, 2012, Griffin Group bought from RE Polish Property the Prima Court A-class office building located at 68 Nowogrodzka Street, in the Warsaw’s Central Business District. The transaction is a continuation of Griffin Group's investment strategy providing for building a diversified portfolio composed of properties located in major Polish cities.
In late 2010, the company bought a 37 hectare plot of land near the Natolin Park in Warsaw, where it is developing a luxury single-family housing estate. Three months ago Griffin Group closed the deal concerning the purchase of seven investment plots with a total potential of nearly 150 thousand m², where office premises, commercial outlets, and residential apartments will be built.
“We are committed to build Griffin's strong position in the Polish investment real estate market, and acquisition of Prima Court is yet another investment that we are planning to complete in the near future,” says Przemysław Krych, CEO, Griffin Group. “In 2012 we plan to invest large sums in properties located in major Polish cities.”
Griffin Group's advisor was Colliers International and RE Polish Property was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle.
