Gherkin makes news with Sky Deal
Sky News has taken 1,200 sq ft from Abbey Business Centres and Swiss Re for a flagship studio on the 15th floor of Swiss Re’s 30 St Mary Axe, better known to Londoner’s as The Gherkin.
The new fully fitted high definition studio in the heart of the City of London will be home to Jeff Randall Live, Sky News’ flagship weeknight business news programme which airs at 7.30pm Monday-Thursday. The studio will initially broadcast in standard definition only, but will switch to HD when Sky News launches its HD channel later in the spring.
Gerald Eve advises Swiss Re.
