Gazeley completes distribution centre for H&M
Gazeley has completed work on a 387,231 sq ft distribution centre for fashion retailer H&M in the Spanish town of Torrejon de Ardoz, northeast of Madrid.
The build-to-suit facility was completed in just 37 weeks, an impressive 11 weeks ahead of schedule, and marks H&M’s continued growth within Spain and across the rest of Europe. Gazeley will officially hand the building over in mid-July for customer fit-out and it is expected to be fully operational by mid of July. The building is to be let on a 24-year lease agreement.
The distribution centre has been designed in line with the technical and environmental requirements to achieve the LEED “Silver Certificate” (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
