Dekker and Wiechers leave the Supervisory Board of Royal BAM Group
The Supervisory Board of Royal BAM Group points out that Mr J.A. Dekker and Mr W.K. Wiechers will be stepping down as members of the Supervisory Board after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 25 April 2012. Neither Mr Dekker nor Mr Wiechers is eligible for re-appointment.
With reference to the vacancy resulting from the departure of Mr Dekker, the Central Works Council has indicated its intention to implement its enhanced right of recommendation as laid down in Book 2, Article 158, paragraph 6 of the Dutch Civil Code, and to recommend Mr H.L.J. Noy be nominated as a member of the Supervisory Board of the company. The Supervisory Board warmly supports this recommendation and, if no recommendations are made by the General Meeting, will propose that the General Meeting appoint Mr Noy as a member of the Supervisory Board of the company for a period of four years. Mr Noy is currently CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Arcadis N.V., from which he will step down in mid-May 2012.
