conwert continues to advance optimisation of sales activities in Austria
conwert Immobilien Invest SE continues the optimisation and expansion of its sales activities in Austria. In this context, new framework conditions were agreed upon for the cooperation with RESAG Immobilienmakler GmbH, which govern sales and marketing of residential and commercial properties in Austria until March 2013. In addition, the in-house sales team was strengthened by Valentino Donau, previously Head of Residential Property Sales at RESAG Immobilienmakler GmbH, who was appointed Head of Sales for Austria as of 15 January 2012.
“With the newly arranged cooperation with RESAG Immobilienmakler GmbH and the appointment of Valentino Donau as Head of Sales, we are increasing the efficiency and power of our sales activities in the Austrian market”, said Jürgen Kelber, Executive Director of conwert. The new agreement stipulates, amongst other things, that the exclusive right of RESAG Immobilienmakler GmbH for the sale and letting of properties in Austria ends after six months at the latest. The so-called seller’s commission, which conwert paid to RESAG Immobilienmakler GmbH in the past, has been dropped with immediate effect.
With the appointment of Valentino Donau as Head of Sales for Austria, conwert also continues to advance the expansion of the internal sales team following the appointment of Jasmin Soravia as the new regional manager for the Austrian market at the beginning of this year. As the former Head of Residential Property Sales at RESAG Immobilienmakler GmbH, Valentino Donau has extensive experience and knowledge of the Austrian market. With the progressing optimisation of the sales activities in Austria, conwert will, as announced in September 2011, realise annual cost savings amounting to 1.5 – 2.5 million Euros from 2012 onwards.
