Construction of Galeria Neptun to kick off soon
Galeria Neptun in Starogard Gdański has received a valid building permit. The construction of this shopping centre is planned to break ground this April with completion in spring 2014. The developer of Galeria Neptun is supported by the global commercial property consultant Cushman & Wakefield.
Galeria Neptun will be located at the site of the former footwear factory “Neptun” at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II Streets in the downtown area of Starogard Gdański. The two-storey scheme will provide 35,000 m² of which about 25,000 m² can be leased, and an underground car park with 618 parking spaces.
The new shopping centre will be developed by Galeria Neptun sp. z o.o. sp.k., while Cushman & Wakefield has been commissioned to prepare an application to have the local zoning plan amended, to develop a concept of the building and its vicinity, and to prepare a comprehensive building permit design of this retail and service complex. Cushman & Wakefield is also the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialization of the scheme.
Tomasz Daniecki, Head of Project Management, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Galeria Neptun is the first such large-scale development in Starogard Gdański. The building permit now allows us to carry on working on this project.”
