Company Post completes move to Lände 3 site in Vienna
Post AG has been relocating to its new corporate headquarters on the Lände 3 site since the start of September. With the move now complete, the organisation has brought together all of its office-based operations across 31,000 sq m on the Vienna site. As Post AG was taking up residence, the company Sim & More GmbH was confirmed as the tenant and operator of the SB Restaurant, which spans usable space of 2,500 sq m on the same site.
During the first three quarters, the CA Immo Group as a whole let effective area of approximately 403,000 sq m. Lettings performance was thus equivalent to around 17 % of the Group's asset portfolio, which amounts to 2.4 million sq m. Of this total figure, new lettings were responsible for around 35 % and 65 % was accounted for by existing tenants extending contracts and expanding their floor space. The main impetus came from large-scale lettings in Eastern European investment properties together with various new contracts linked to recently completed development projects in Germany.
Significant new and extended contracts were concluded in Eastern Europe. These included Puma and Deloitte (1,000 sq m in Danube House and 8,900 sq m in Nile House respectively, both office properties being located in Prague), Nokia Siemens Network (13,000 sq m of office space in City Gate, Budapest) and Tetra Pak (2,160 sq m in the Poleczki Business Park, Warsaw). Lettings in Germany included 4,500 sq m in Tower 185 in Frankfurt to the international law firm Mayer Brown LLP.
