Colliers manages Senator Building in Warsaw

Colliers International has won the tender to manage the prestigious mixed-use Senator building in Warsaw.

Senator building by Ghelamco is located at No 12 Bielańska street in close proximity to the Old Town square. The atrium dominated ground floor level will be dedicated to high end retail while the remaining floors will be occupied by A class offices amounting to almost 25,000 m².

Senator is a long awaited project realized in the place which has always been connected with financial institutions. From as early as the 18th century, the Senator site was associated with Poland’s state finance, as it accommodated the State Mint, the Russian State Bank and the Polish National Bank respectively. Central atrium is a special place in the building. Its main wall has been restored to resemble the original design of the cashier’s room of the Polish National Bank. Additionally, atrium’s floor was partly glazed to display the historic brickwork of the State Mint. Another element referring to the historical character of the building is a circular façade overlooking Solidarności avenue.

Interesting and challenging architectural project was created by the Belgian architectural company Jaspers-Eyers & Partners in cooperation with Polish AB-Projekt and Architraw GB. First tenants are to enter the building in July.
