CBRE manages for Quinlan Private in Cologne

CB Richard Ellis has been appointed by Quinlan Private to manage the 32,441 sq/m Neumarkt Galerie in Cologne. The centre is anchored by Karstadt Sports and is famous for its striking architecture.

The centrally located Neumarkt Galerie is one of Cologne’s major landmarks, its exterior crowned with a large ‘dropped’ ice cream cone sculpture which measures more than 30 feet high. The shopping centre covers three levels and a total of 65 shops, which include a range of international brands, restaurants and cafes.

Nigel Biggs, Head of Property and Asset management, CBRE EMEA, said “Clients are now beginning to see the clear benefits of streamlining management of their properties across Europe. Over the past few years we have developed our cross boarder property management capability and already manage a number of Quinland’s properties in Europe including Diagonal Mar, Barcelona. CBRE has also been appointed sole letting agent for Neumarkt Galerie, which will give us the ability to really add value to the scheme.”
