CBRE appoints Javier Kindelan as President of Valuation Advisory

CBRE announces the appointment of Javier Kindelan as President of CBRE Valuation Advisory in Spain, responsible for real estate valuations in Spain and Morocco. Kindelan joined CBRE’s Spanish Capital Markets team in April 2005, where he led the launch of its industrial investment division and was subsequently appointed institutional investment director for Spain in 2008.

During his time at CBRE, Kindelan has coordinated several significant mandates, including advising Moor Park in the acquisition of the Sabadell portfolio for over €430 million in 2010; managing the sale of the assets of the largest real estate fund in Spain, Banif Investment Fund; coordinating the disposal of 948 bank branches and regional assets for financial services group BBVA (the largest investment transaction in 2009 in Spain); and arranging the €4.4 billion sale and leaseback of Banco Santander’s real estate portfolio in 2008 which earned the Euromoney award for ‘Transaction of the Year’ for the sale of Santander’s HQ.

Javier Kindelan has a degree in Economic and Business Science, specialising in Finance & Management Information Systems from London’s Westminster University. He also completed the ESADE/Wharton Advanced Management Program. Javier Kindelan is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
