CBRE: Aidan Grimes appointed as Executive Director & Head of PAM

CBRE announces the appointment of two Senior Directors and a strengthening of its Property & Asset Management (‘PAM’) Team. Aidan Grimes has been appointed as Executive Director and Head of PAM. Brian Cleary has been appointed as a Director to the team.


Aidan Grimes has been appointed as Executive Director and Head of PAM at CBRE. Aidan joins CBRE from Colliers International in Dublin where he was Director of Asset Management. Aidan has worked in the commercial property sector for 25 years. In this time he has gained extensive experience in and a unique knowledge of the retail space in Ireland and the UK. He has been involved in the management and marketing of high-profile projects such as the Blanchardstown and Dundrum Town Centres. Aidan is a fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.

Brian Cleary has been appointed as a Director of CBRE’s PAM Team. Brian also joins CBRE from Colliers International in Dublin where he was Director of Property Management in the retail, office and industrial sectors. Brian’s experience covers property management, acquisitions, lettings and disposals as well as development and redevelopment projects with a recent focus on distressed tenants. Projects Brian has been involved in include; managing the Dunnes Stores property portfolio, the Management of Eircom’s Superannuation Fund, which included the pre-development and management of Liffey Valley Retail Park and the Pavilions Shopping Centre, Swords. Recently Brian was responsible for the launch and management of Arklow, Athlone and Edenderry Shopping Centres as well as managing the Pavilions Swords and the opening of Pavilions Phase 2.
