CA Immo Group starts building Tour Total in Berlin

Tour Total
The some 226 feet (69 metre) high office tower Tour Total is to be built as the first building of Europacity, the projected urban district opposite Berlin’s central railway station. The high rise is scheduled to be a Green Building. 100 percent of the space already has been rented; the building will serve as the German headquarters of the French oil company TOTAL. The total volume of investment is approximately € 70 m, the building should be completed by the 3rd quarter of 2012.

Tour Total has been designed as a sustainable building and is being constructed by CA Immo´s German subsidiary Vivico. The aim is to achieve DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) silver certification. The DGNB standard will make the building’s energy consumption values far superior to the legal requirement. District heating and light-saving concepts will be used to reduce power consumption. The building has direct access to a variety of nearby public transport services for both local and long distance travel.
