ECE has been developing, planning, constructing and managing large-scale shopping centres since 1965 and is, with its more than hundred shopping centres, top in management on the European market. ECE’s shopping centres are located in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Turkey, Greece and Qatar and with 10,000 shops over a retail area of 3 million sqm reaches an annual turn-over of 12 billion EUR. A further 26 shopping centres all over Europe are in the construction or planning phase, among others Europe Center in Sofia, Das Neue Thier-Areal in Dortmund and Skyline Plaza in Frankfurt. In its sectors Office, Traffic and Industries ECE is currently realizing the new ThyssenKrupp headquarter in Essen, for example, and is competence partner in the realization of the BahnhofCity project at Vienna central station.
