Buckingham Sports acquires London Ice Parks

Buckingham Sports Properties Company, an affiliate of The InterTech Group, Inc., purchased the London Ice Park Arena. Buckingham will immediately begin a modernization program to upgrade the facilities which will include substantial improvements to the ice rinks, dressing rooms, bar and restaurant and parking lot. The property will be renamed London Sports Park.

Buckingham Sports Properties Company is the owner and operator of the Chesswood and Westwood Arenas in Toronto and the Cambridge Sports Park in Cambridge. Additionally, Buckingham has begun construction of a new state-of-art 4 pad arena at Downsview Park in Toronto that is scheduled to open in September, 2013.
