Bilfinger Berger acquires design specialists Envi Con
Bilfinger Berger has acquired design specialists Envi Con, headquartered in Nuremberg.
After Bilfinger Berger just a few weeks ago acquired Tebodin, a highly-regarded engineering specialist in the Industrial Services business segment, the Group has now also succeeded in taking this step in the Power Services business segment. Engineers at Envi Con design entire power plants or take on engineering for specific sections such as steam generators, piping systems or electrical engineering.
“The acquisition of Envi Con fits perfectly into our strategy of positioning Bilfinger Berger as an engineering and services group”, stressed Roland Koch, Chief Executive Officer. The engineering company generates an output volume of approximately €35 million with 230 employees. The company was previously management-owned and the two parties have agreed to keep the terms of the sale confidential.
