Ave Plaza in Kharkov is open
DTZ announced the opening of the Ave Plaza shopping centre in Kharkov, which took place on 23rd of December 2011 in an opening ceremony attended by dignitaries, and representatives from the various parties involved in the development and, leasing of the centre. Located in the core city centre of Kharkov this high end boutique mall with a modern architecture style and accommodating a broad range of both international and nationally famous retail brand, Ave Plaza has added a new dimension to the city’s shopping experience.
The total area of the centre is 23,400 sq m gross area including a Class A business centre, shopping and entertainment gallery, cafes, restaurants, an attractive interior summer roof garden and an underground car park for around 100 cars. Ave Plaza is designed on seven levels with the four lower levels accommodating retail and, entertainment zones. High quality offices space is provided to levels 5 and 6. Separate entrances and access routes are provided for the different functional zones.
DTZ, appointed as exclusive leasing agent representing the Austrian investor Uniqa Real Estate, had pre-leased most of the spaces in the shopping centre, which has a total area of 9,077 sq m. This December Kharkov shoppers will be finally able to visit in a central destination long-awaited stores of retail brands including amongst others Letual, Sekunda, In City, Cifrovoy, Trioptica, Tabak& Presents, Tally Weijl, K.Plastinina, Antonio Biaggi, K-Market, L'etude, New Balance, O’Stin, Accessorize, Walker, and, Respect. Interest in the remaining space is very high and, the final leasing stages of the upper retail floors are now nearing completion. Healthy interest has been shown in the office spaces as well. The investor of Ave Plaza project is Uniqa Real Estate, a part of Uniqa Insurance Group, which is one of the TOP-6 of largest insurers in Ukraine.
