Air freight logistics company rents at Segro Service Park Berlin Airport
The Berlin branch of the Segro Group has signed a long-term lease agreement with the global freight forwarding and logistics company JAS Forwarding GmbH for approximately 500 m² of warehouse and office space at the new Segro Service Park Berlin Airport.
With the start of the rental period immediately upon completion of the property in the second quarter of 2012 the company is moving from its present location at the air cargo building at Tegel Airport to the immediate vicinity of the new BER airport of the federal capital. The international real estate consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle from Berlin acted as adviser and mediator for this rental agreement.
Phase One of Segro Service Park Berlin Airport, Am Seegraben/Alexander- Meissner-Strasse in Berlin, is due for completion in the second quarter of this year. It will offer a total of around 12,000 m² of flexible units, ranging from 400 m² to 4,000 m².
